The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unveiled its fifth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections of 2024. Within the Bihar constituency, numerous unexpected names have surfaced within this latest release. Notably absent from the list are three incumbent candidates from the state, among them Buxar MP and Union Minister Ashwini Choubey.

The BJP’s candidate lineup for Bihar reveals alterations, with three MPs seeing their tickets revoked. Mithlesh Tiwari will now represent Buxar in lieu of Ashwini Choubey, Rajbhushan Nishad will stand in place of Ajay Nishad in Muzaffarpur, and Shivesh Ram is set to replace Chhedi Paswan in Sasaram. The BJP, gearing up for the 2024 electoral showdown, has disclosed its candidate selections for 111 Lok Sabha seats, spanning various states including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Gujarat. This release marks the party’s fifth installment of candidate announcements.
