The bank stated that through this service, their NRI clientele can conveniently settle utility bills, conduct merchant transactions, and engage in e-commerce using their international mobile numbers linked to their NRE/NRO bank accounts in India. This feature is accessible via their mobile banking app, iMobile Pay.

Previously, NRIs were required to register an Indian mobile number with their banks to facilitate UPI payments.
