Global Eid Celebrations Amidst Gaza Tragedy: A Look at Political and Economic Trends in India and Abroad

In India, the Modi-led NDA has been ruling since 2014, paving the way for infrastructural development. However, other indicators of economic factors that indicate financial distress in India, such as inflation surges, downsizing employment opportunities, and a 40% surge in rural debt to GDP, paint a vivid picture of India's economic front.

The whole Muslim world will celebrate Eid today. In India, people in Kerala and Kashmir will celebrate today, while the rest of the Indian Muslim population will celebrate tomorrow. However, this Eid, my consciousness compels me to think about the children of Gaza. Almost six months ago, Hamas’s attack on Israel led to the looming barbaric, genocidal tendencies of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He killed numerous infant children due to his destructive military policies. The whole world is demanding a ceasefire, but the USA’s indirect support for Israel demands new foreign policies for a better tomorrow. This year, in 2024, almost 40% of the world’s population will cast their vote. This election will decide a lot of ups and downs in world politics. International relations are also on the ballot.

In India, the Modi-led NDA has been ruling since 2014, paving the way for infrastructural development. However, other indicators of economic factors that indicate financial distress in India, such as inflation surges, downsizing employment opportunities, and a 40% surge in rural debt to GDP, paint a vivid picture of India’s economic front.

However, India’s realist approach to dealing with China for territorial disputes seems to be Modi’s defeat. Since 2014, media giants have made Modi a ‘Vishwa Guru’ and a powerful leader. But his approach to dealing with China is a matter of grave concern. However, dealing with Russia and the USA, India has done a great job.

But, pointing out India-Sri Lanka bilateral ties pertaining to the Katchatheevu Island pre-poll is a political move to start a debate on who has a better foreign policy, BJP or Congress?

In 1971, Indira Gandhi’s intervention led to the birth of a new state. However, the BJP-led government’s approach to dealing with Pakistan was not defensive; it was indeed attacking. However, trends of militancy during the Modi regime have decreased; however, defense experts often say it may be a calm before the storm. Earlier, militants used phones, which made them easy to catch. They have now gone back to working in an old-fashioned way.

But, in the 2024 election, the ‘INDIA BLOC’ foreign policy is not yet being discussed. Rahul Gandhi raises questions about Ladakh’s climate issues. However, he asked questions about India’s position on dealing with the China threat. PM Modi is silent. However, if Rahul Gandhi becomes prime minister after the 2024 election, how will he deal with the China problem?

In the USA, if Joe Biden is dethroned from his position, can the new face, probably Trump, deal with Israel fairly and squarely?
