Bengaluru’s 17 ACMM court sends JD(S) leader HD Revanna to SIT custody for 4 days. SIT officials arrested him yesterday in a kidnapping case registered against him. The SIT set up by the Karnataka government to probe the obscene videos case.

Two FIRs have been registered so far against H D Revanna.

The first case was registered against H D Revanna and son Prajwal Revanna for alleged sexual harassment at the Holenarsipura police station in Hassan district last Sunday, based on a complaint by a woman who worked in the Revannas’ house.

Explicit video clips allegedly involving the 33-year-old Prajwal Revanna had started doing the rounds in Hassan in recent days, following which the state government constituted an SIT to probe the alleged sexual abuse allegations against the MP. The SIT also carried out an on-site investigation at Revanna’s residence in Holenaraspur, located in Hassan district. A victim and her mother accompanied the team at Revanna’s residence, where the MP allegedly recorded the videos.
