Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) won at home for the second time in a row. In the 18th game of the season, the team defeated the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six wickets, moving Hyderabad up to the fifth rank in the points standings while Chennai stays in third place.

Former captain Aiden Markram led the charge with a solid knock of 50 runs off 36 balls, supported by the impactful performance of Travis Head who contributed 31 runs. Abhishek Sharma provided fireworks with a blistering 37 runs off just 12 balls. Moin Ali was the standout bowler for Chennai, claiming 2 wickets.
For CSK, Shivam Dube played a brisk innings, scoring 45 runs off 24 balls, while Ajinkya Rahane added 35 runs to the total. Ravindra Jadeja contributed an unbeaten 31 runs towards the end. Hyderabad’s bowling attack was well-rounded, with Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Pat Cummins, Shahbaz Ahmed, and Jaydev Unadkat each picking up one wicket.
